    Hey,
    I have VB 4.0 is it possible to 'downgrade' to 3.8, if so how can I go about it.

    I'm pretty sure the simplest way to do it is if you previously had 3.8 installed and have a backup of the database.

    Im pretty sure if you ring them, they will eventually give in and allow you to downgrade although in some licensing agreements it says you can or you cant downgrade Abit like how microsoft scam you with all these licensing poo's

    It's harder to downgrade because vBulletin has a bunch of added tables in the 4 version, along with (I think) more columns in the table so you will end up with a database full of things that vBulletin 3 doesn't use - but it is possible.

    Ask if Impex has been perfected for it yet and if your license is owned you should be able to download 3.8.
