iPod Touch Song issue

On my iPod Touch, when I select a song it forces a different song on. The song information is updated to the new one, but I cannot listen to the one I originally selected.

How can I resolve this?

Might be the wrong format / encoded with an unsupported codec.

Try exporting from itunes, converting and re-importing.
