    Default When did you start your GCSEs?

    Well I'm just wondering when people started there GCSEs because I am going into yr 9 and starting My GCSEs. So in yr9 & 10 were doing GCSEs and in yr11 we can resit our exams or start a levels a/s levels before be go to college.

    So when did you or do you start you GCSEs

    I started my GCSE's in year 10 and took my tests in year 11

    I started them last September, when I went in to year 10.

    I started GCSE in year 10 and did the exams in year 11 which was last year in year 13 in september!

    I started maths in year 9, everything else in year 10

    I did a module in maths in year 9, full marks yay lol. Schools are starting them earlier now

    Seems strange that you would start your A levels tho if you change college. You don't know what type of course they do lol

    Started everything except english in year 9
    english was year 10, i guess they wanted to give us more prep time for it.

    still gotta do them all in year 11 though, except french which is split up now into coursework pieces.

    Started in year 10, althought we had two tests at the end of year 9...

    there starting earlyier because of the yr9 sats being abolished so there was no point in wasting another year of doing normal school work

    We started them in year 10 (began some of our coursework) then in year 11 finished all the coursework and took all the exams at the end (about a month ago ).

    The new system seems a lot more sensible, as you mentioned, SATS were mostly a waste of time since you drop a lot of subjects after.
