Just start doing slayer!
You need a lot of food for slayer though...I go fishing for swordfish and lobsters - get a bunch, fill up and then go kill what you're assigned to. Right now I'm assigned to kill 99 crocs - which is annoying cause they're in the desert
But before I had hill giants, giant bats, earth warriors and ice warriors - just by doing this, i've got my combat to level 60 (50 attack, 50 stregnth, 50 hps and 48 defence).
If you do this - you get your fishing, cooking, combat and slayer level up!
EDIT: and oh yeah - you have to do lost city - which I think i'm going to try to do today i didn't know that 'til after i bought my dragon long sword :@
