Auction House :S Bit confused

I'm a bit confused, because I don't understand what I'm supposed to put in for range and I don't know many axes that are available for level 8's. Can anyone help me, the WoW help page doesn't help either, so please don't refer me to that page

If you were looking for axes for a level 8, you would put range: 5-8, or similar. But, DO NOT buy gear + equipment until you reach the expansion. ( Lv 60+ ) At level 8, quests will be providing ample gear and weps for you, so no need to buy them! Use an addon like auctioneer, it will help you tenfold.

You shouldn't really need to buy anything from the Auction House with how easy it is to get to 80. Once you hit 60, gear is everywhere, same with 70.

You may need to start buying gems once you reach TBC. Ask your guild if anyone is a miner / JC / Honour *****.

It ain't even worth buying gems, 60-70 is easy, I completed it in 3 zones, with no instance runs.

Only time u use the AH is if you're in vanilla still and you've got a piece of gear that is 20+ levels lower than you, then u go and buy something. That's happened to me before. Once you hit 58 though, then no need since outland constantly provides you with gear.
