Missing my cousin.

Well, Im 15 and have a little cousin, 3. Shes the cutest girl I have ever seen, honestly. The family live just about 2 & half hours drive. (NW to Midlands). Me, my mum and my brother went up to see all of our family, as most of them live there, including family graves etc. Anyway, We went round my aunties 3 times in them 4 days, and through them 3 days I took my cosuin outside, pushed her on the swing, picked her up when she asked me to and just generally played with her. The last time we went there was on our last day. As we were leaving, she told me I was her best friend, which was really sweet, gave me a hug and a kiss, and was clinging on to me and asking if she could come with us. It was really hard leaving her, so the next day I asked my auntie if I could go and stop the week in the weeks holiday in October, and she said yes. But I dont feel like I can wait until then, I know shes only 3 but I got attached, and October seems so far away. Advice:S

aww this happened to me as well kind of, my uncle moved to spain and married a woman there and had two kids, and the daughter was a similar age and they come every summer and i got quite attatched too a few years ago and it was really sad and quite difficult when they went back.

it was really bad for a couple of days, but i found the best way was to just keep occupied to keep my mind off it, and it really does sound like the kind of lazy answer but you just have to wait really and let it pass and you will get used to not being around her again. and especially when you get back to school, you will be busy and everything, and it will just fly past until october comes around.

That is pretty pathetic, ignore them.

With her being your younger cousin you probably feel pretty protective over her too and want to be around to look after her as I know I am with my younger cousin.

Don't let it get you down too much, the time will fly by and it'll be worth waiting for when you see how much she'll have grown in a few months

Do you have any brothers or sisters btw?

Edit: sorry ignore that bit, I noticed you said you had a brother. Maybe she just feels like a little sister to you

I think its because you see here rarely, if you saw her on a daily basis, it would be different

But why dont you try talk to her more often via phone or if they have internet, tell them to download skype & get a camera/microphone so you can ring eachother, its free aswell!

I sorta know how you feel. I have a 5 year old sister, and the thought of ever having to leave her is something which I never want to do (inevitable, I'll have to when I move out, which will probably be soon, as I'm 19). The people calling you a pedo are frankly pathetic :/
