Profile idea - img tags

I think it would be a great idea if the [img] [/img] tags were enabled on user profiles. I remember ages ago when this was possible.

As in the background picture of your profile? If so that was removed by vBulletin

Like when where you can leave visitor messages you should be able to use text and images.

He means allowing images in visitor messages. But as Shaz said, people can leave huge images but if possible have a size thing for the profiles and when clicked open in a new window? Probably not possible but worth a try.

Visitor messages are supposed to be short bursts of communication between members, the way visitor messages are ATM I feel is quite tidy and well presented. If we started allowing images this would as the two above have said - cause problems.

It would most likely lead to people spamming other users with images. I think they are fine as they are at the moment

Visitor Messages are like comments on Facebook.. you can't share images in comments, but you can share links.

Either post a link to it, or send a private message, it's simple

Someone suggested it, got rejected due to size. Videos are allowed as they are a fixed size.
