Don't pay. If you did download it, get a magnet and run it in one direction several times over your hard drive.

    Problem solved.

Ignore it and do not enter into any contact. If more come, ignore them. They will never send anyone around or take you to court. They just try and scare people. IGNORE!

Just ignore them as the others said or you could try and ring the police, but if you actually downloaded it then nevermind about the police thing.

Its not just that though, the letter looks so dodgey, and the site does not look proffessional at all...

    Philosophy

As solicitors regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, we are obliged to comply with the Solicitors Code of Conduct.
Over and beyond that, we are committed to handling these claims for copyright infringement in a proportionate, transparent and reasonable manner.
    To this end:

    • We will only act for brand owners who are prepared to sue in their own names.
    • We understand that threatening legal proceedings can be distressing. Whilst committed to act in our client's best interests, we strive to communicate with the recipients of our letters in a respectful and courteous fashion.
    • We encourage the recipients of our letters to take independent legal advice.
    • If we are unable to reach an agreement with the recipient of our letters, and still consider that our client has a good claim, we shall sue. We recognise that it is not appropriate to make threats of proceedings and to not then follow through with those threats in appropriate cases.
    • We do not act in claims involving adult content.
