    Default The Stig Revealed

The stig has been revealed as Ben Collins. This means that the stig has died? Far from it the BBC have now sacked collins and have found a replacement stig.

Who will it be? What colour will this one be? Thoughs

Oh I heard something about this on the radio yesterday. I suppose Ben Collins simply wants to make a lot of money and writing an autobiography seems the easy route!

Thing is he wasn't always the stig and that's why they had him unidentifiable, because some car companies won't let their cars be raced around a track as fast as possible by anybody but their own representatives.

Ben Collins was merely the Top Gear version of the Stig who would drive the cars when either A) Top Gear owned the car or B) the car company let them, but most of the big companies provide drivers - which is why the Stig was formed like he was so nobody could tell who he is.

His identity as Ben Collins has been an open secret for years anyway. Just a shame it had to be openly outed now.

    New Stig anyway .

    I am the new Stig.

I never knew that but I guess that does make logical sense now I know that haha. Personally I wouldn't want to read any of the 'Stigs' biographies, I don't see how it could be interesting to read a few hundred page book on driving cars.

Ah I was wondering what the outcome would of been. His fault really, for breaking a contract with the BBC, or letting his employers break his contract for him (if it was true that his employers were the ones that wrote about their contract with the BBC 'Top Gear'). It's not really going to affect us viewers, as we'd probably not really notice the changes between him, the other Stigs, and a new one.
