    Exclamation Earth 'facing mass extinction'

THE world is facing a mass extinction event that could be greater than that of the dinosaurs, new Australian research shows. More info at http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/n...-1225913659680

"Really, really big mass extinctions happen very, very rarely and they have very important long-term consequences."

Sorry, but were you around for the last extinction event? Thought not. Scientists are so good at theorising things and taking them up to a level of truth that anyone will believe. The dinosaurs got a asteroid in the face, that wasn't rare, that happens all the time on Earth, the amount of asteroids that could hit us is like mad. I love though, he says really really big mass extinctions, like there's some sorta level down, yknow it's just gonna be a little bit of extinction, nothing major.

BUT TOUCHÉ MR SCIENTIST, BECAUSE THE MAYANS ARE GONNA BLOW UP THE EARTH WAY BEFORE YOUR THEORIES CAN! BWAHAH!

and I don't recall 06/06/06 to be a very good day for me... So I guess that's how my end of the world went.
