Messenger virus problem :S - help!!

Hi,

Today i was sent a link by one of my college friends and i accidentaly opened it because it was a picture (as if i was that stupid enough to do that) and then i ran McAfee it found some viruses and deleted it but still done it by sending over a dozen viruses out automatically to my friends on msn. I haven't got any pictures saved into my documents ever of it so im sure it must be hiden into one of my C:/ drives?. It also done the same with skype and other social networking sites like facebook i both uninstalled them and installed them and done it once more!

I don't know if my account is being hacked or will it be something else :S
