Microphone stand

I'm looking for a microphone stand that can freely move around for example i could drag it closer to me but i could also push it high above me. I have a stand and when i try to loosen it so it can freely move up and down it just falls onto the table. I'm thinking of a boom stand. Any ideas?

I would just recommend getting a decent cheap pair of headphones with a decent noise canceling microphone

I need a microphone stand to - i used to be able to hold my microphone and freely talk without any bad quality but the slightest movment has started causing issues. So as you can see i had to get a little creative ha.
