    Default Paypal Help?

Okay, so i sold something on eBay for £150, and the buyer wasn't happy so i offered to refund £75.
I refunded him £75 through paypal, and left £80 in the bank to cover the costs.
I've just received a letter through the post though, claiming that there isn't enough money in my bank to cover the costs of the £75?
What the hell has happened? I'll go over a check my bank soon but im sure the payment should have been made.

Is there anything i can do or check or something rather than being stuck on the phone to paypal - i just don't have time to be phoning them.

    Thanks everyone.

You shouldn't really have offered the refund in the first place if you had a proper eBay listing for it, but either way, check he hasn't opened a dispute with PayPal, or the money from PayPal may not have cleared into your account yet?

I'd imagine you refunded them then they made a dispute.
