it would be cool if you could add a feature to a members page or something
for example
Richies posts - 4000
Richies overall posts - 6000 (including spam)

that'd be soooooooooo awesome.
Would be nice to see that for people who don't regularly venture out of Spam, or have a lot of posts in Spam which are going unnoticed.
I doubt it'd happen, but I love the idea. It'd allow for others to see how active someone is on the forums, regardless if it's in Spam or not.
BIG thank you to the graphics department for making this banner. I LOVE IT!

Would be a good idea for adding it to the member page and could maybe include all other forums too, like staff forums. However, this shouldn't become your 'official' post count and shouldn't be in the post bit unless maybes it's like the awards, click on the number and get your overall post count![]()
Don't think it would work like that forum wise. The DB either counts your posts, or it doesn't. I don't believe the "disable post count" simply hides the other half of your posts, I think it just ignores them entirely (for the value of the count.) If this is true (and I'm not 100%), then implementing this feature would mean making serious recoding changes, including changing the vB code itself instead of just adding in. I think tampering with the already-coded features is generally avoided because of the issues it causes.
Just my 2 cents![]()

Your post count and the actual number of posts are in seperate tables, it would be a matter of running an extra query on the user profile pageDon't think it would work like that forum wise. Just my 2 cents. Although, I'm not entirely sure what good can come from an extra number on your profile.
