Could this be moved from Discuss Anything to Spam? It creates no discussion whatsoever, and if anybody actually cared or wanted to know what the weather is like where a person lives then they would check the weather forecast for that area. And lets be honest, certain people are just abusing it.

even though its my thread, i agree it's not really a discussion anymore. So i think it should be moved to spam aswell.

but its like a what are you currently drinking/eating thread. Just weather,

No because then you'd have to do the same to 'what are you listening to' 'what did you watch last' ect.. they all have the same concept, to move one to spam and then to leave the rest is just silly.

I don't personally have a problem with it, and I think moving it to spam would simply kill it.

All these types of threads are basically spam. But then again, they don't belong in spam. If they are placed into spam, most likely the entire thread will die and end up being lost but then if it doesn't move to spam, people will abuse it for raising their post count. Maybe there should be a subforum for these specific type of threads.

I quite like it. It's no different to 'what are you listening to' what are you eating/drinking/watching etc. Some people may simply have an interest in what the weather is like in other parts of the world etc, and it's only fair to let people say such stuff. Yes, it's kinda like spam and isnt the best 'Discussion', but it isn't completely pointless in terms of what it offers.

So does it mean I can post straight after my previous post if the weather has changed?

I doubt the whether would change completely after you've just posted. It doesn't usually go from darkness and rain to light and sunshine within 10-20 seconds

    Not online very often

That would be silly though, and everyone has common sense. I only post once in the morning, and as Luke said. I doubt the weather would change that quick.
