    Default surround sound system?

    hey

we have been redoing our living room and I am looking to buy a surround sound system for it. Preferably one around £100, could stretch to around £150-180 at maximum (if it's gonna be a real improvement)

I really need it to have an optical in and be 5.1 but apart from those two requirements, that's really it. I'm not sure if I am dreaming trying to get a surround sound system + optical in for this price but since I don't really know much about this area, thought it would be best to ask!

    Thanks

I'm not really sure - The main want for this is so that I have like cinema style sound for when watching films through the xbox, I doubt that most of what the TV will output will be 5.1 surround.

That looks pretty nice, I like the LG systems (that's what my new TV is) and it seems pretty good +rep

Already looked at that one Tom, can't really go that far! I wish I could because it looks amazing but it seems a bit crazy for someone like me

My mate has the Logitech in his bedroom for his pc, says he has to have BASS on very low because it knocks photos off the wall.

To some people it's not all about bass though, like me I would prefer a good mixture of sound so the quality is outstanding.
