    The last book I bought was Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami and the last book I read was Gogo Monster by Taiyo Matsumoto.

    Spy by Ted Bell. It was a rather enjoyable read.

    I haven't heard of any of these authors and I used to be a librarian (lil' nerd me innit). The only author i've heard of is mine, and that's Hilary Duff

    If you haven't heard of Haruki Murakami then you must have been living under a rock. Many consider him one of the worlds greatest living novelists.

    He is popular the world over, not just in Japan and your thought process is entirely alien to me. Japanese novelists are just the same as any other novelist, only they were born in Japan. I don't understand how you couldn't be a fan just because of their ethnicity. That just makes you racist.

    Noooo it's not that. it's just never read any books from Japanese authors. Not because they're japanese, just never done it.
