At what price would you consider physically buying an album (of 11 songs) instead of downloading it for free?

I reckon £6 is decent, however I still pay for it now at the current prices.

I usually download all of my music for free however I would probably buy an album if it was to be around £5 - £6 (I voted £6). Sadly though they are always usually above £10 which I think is just scandalous.

    Depends on the songs.

    Good songs = £5

why would you buy songs that are not-so-good??
I wish pop albums wern't so patchy, I can't believe so many people claim albums are amazing when they think it only has say 4 out of 10 songs they like..

ps I voted 10 as I'm happy the way it is now.

I think the current price is fair, but I voted £10 because really that's what it should be. Having said that, I rarely buy unless there's like a bundle deal with a shirt or something. Buying CDs for me is a waste of time because they get ripped to my PC and that's it, I'd rather show my support by getting a t-shirt/seeing the band live

I wouldn't really pay a tenner for an album, that's pathetic. I would rather download it legally and pay a fiver on say iTunes, but if I went out and got the physical thing, then £7.

i think 6/7 is reasonable. there are so many factors involved in the making of a physical album and the people involved in all of that need to earn a living as well, very little of album sales actually goes to the artist...
