That's why IconToucan was created. Toucans are awesome, selective creatures, so ours help us choose the very best icons for the site. We couldn't do it without the amazing icon designers out there, so we'd like to give them a nesting place where they're among the very greatest."

IconToucan is an effort to make the best icon sets on the web available in one place. It's really pretty bare for now, but we're ready for your feedback and maybe even your additions!

Let me know of any improvements that can be made to the website so far, anything from bugs to design and I'll try to implement them.

We're looking for any icon sets you believe need a spot on the site, just list them here and we'll add them here and we'll credit you for your help.

We're also actively looking for regular contributors who help out and spot great sets along with a thumbnail and full size image for the site. Once we reach a stage where it's possible, we'll reward you for your time and effort. Let me know if you're up for helping us push the site even further with a PM!

Any thoughts, improvement and criticisms are really appreciated at this early stage. The forum has been a brilliant source of suggestions so far and it's a project I'm really hoping to stretch even further than previous sites.

Nice so far, but a few improvements.

- Header looks abit bier.
- Get a Fav icon for the website.
- im also not to keen on the CAPITAL letters

We do have a favicon, I'm not sure whether your browser hasn't had its cache cleared but we've had one for a while. The font we use only comes in a block capital form, but if I find a suitable replacement I'll take that into mind!

As for the header, I completely agree and I'm trying to find ways to fill some of this up. Later on this will probably be done with more social sharing buttons and BuySellAds advertising

I'm well aware of this, I'm constantly working to prepare new additions and that's why I've brought up a discussion to bring out suggestions as well.

Icon Finder is possibly the single largest icon site, and that's just one huge listing page unrelated to what the site usually does.

I don't think it's a particularly well filtered or organised page, and I've got plenty of confidence in what I'm doing so far. I don't really respond to 'Oh Snaps and 'Hmms' as a means of presenting an existing site.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm also not an ignorant person. I really appreciate links, but there's a right way to go about it instead of your slightly patronising way.
