you have to have the right style and physique for the boots.

i saw some large man wearing them the other day, he looked silly!

you've got to have the edgy military feel to you to be able to pull them off, but hey who am i to know about fashion

they're alright though, some look comfortable others dont :p but they have a very specific outfit to go with
