When I purchased my pc it said it had 512mb of RAM, but when I do "can you run it" it says I have 3.2gb, I don't really understand this?

It's a geforce 310 (i dunno if thats any good or not ).

Probs an intregated graphics card, 512MB of your actual RAM is shared with your GPU.

It's alright, but its intregated... thats the thing. not as good as if it was a dedicated card. Would be alright to run basic games.

the ATi (or rather AMD, seeing as its actually called the AMD Readeon 6870) 6870 got released today, its about £199 and its the replacement for the ATi 5770 (despite the previous one being the 5870), but its only about 7% slower then the 5870 so its worth it seeing as its about £80 cheaper than the 5870.
