It would be cool if you could request (whichever charity) gave you some sort of evidence that the money was actually donated. I'm not trying to say habbox would scam a charity lol but it would be nice to get some sort of conformation and besides its something good to stick on the main site.

I think we got a thankyou letter one year which was put on the site, obviously the charities are quite busy.

Agreed lol. Like if we got a letter thanking us or something, and stick it on the main page

I don't think they'd be that busy to send a simple email or letter to the owners of habbox. After all it is like 300£ most years. I'm sure if its requested they wouldn't mind. Anyone can get money donated for charity and just say they donated it but kept it for themselves.

Its only really worth doing it if we can get an actual letter sent via snail mail as anyone can write an email.

    "Dear Habbox,

Thank you so much for your donation of £1,232,332.38 to the jumpers 4 sheep charity. Your generous donation has been contributed in knitting over 2 million woolly jumpers to ensure sheep that have been abused by their owners by being shaved in such a barbaric act are warm and looking hip in the latest fashionable jumpers.

    Regards,

    Shawn the Sheep
Finance Director of Wooly Jumpers 4 Sheep"

Last year we didn't bother with asking the charities for a letter as they were receiving the payments in two different amounts (sms and paypal separate) and there were 5 of them so that would have been 10 separate letters.

This year we will try and get the letter of confirmation.
