I always thought it pretty much means creating a identical copy of a whole/part of a layout/code?
Not because the position of something is similar.

Angry without good cause.
My girlfriend was ripping when she found out I'd slept with her best friend.
surfing really well
dude did you yousee that guy ripping?? he just magurted a 360 air, then came down by landing on the face and stalled for the deepest, sickest barrel I have ever seen!!! INSAAAANE BRAH BRAH.
Coffee isn't my cup of tea.
Urm.. this is in Designing & Development forum ^_^
Stealing/plagiarising another's work, be it in its entirety or otherwise.
Stealing someone else's design (Eg. A copy and paste job). Creating an identical copy from scratch isnt 'ripping'. (Obviously it wouldn't be completely identical but you get what I mean)
According to ClubHabbo, www.habbcrazy.net is a ripped version of www.clubhabbo.net. Just CH jumping on the bandwagon![]()
There are many similarities amongst both websites although due to the differences it's difficult to classify Habbcrazy as having ripped from ClubHabbo. Adapted ideas they had first sure, but ripping? I don't think so.According to ClubHabbo, www.habbcrazy.net is a ripped version of www.clubhabbo.net. Just CH jumping on the bandwagon
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
Similar, but HabCrazy looks better and it wasn't ripped; no. I think there is some jealousy here.
Also, well done on V6!!! lol
r.i.p.
Ripping is taking the same code, and using it without the owners permission..
Usually harder to do when coded with css.. Tbh with HabCrazy i think you took a very strong insperation from ClubHabbo with the links but ripped...? I would really say so..
If you copy a website from scratch no its not 'ripping' it but the person who origanaly made the site prob wont be happy..
