Default Do you believe in horoscopes?

Well basically, this isn't just for saying 'yes' or 'no' I wish to have a reason as well.

Yesterday my sister was reading my dad his horoscope out - so I told her it's bad luck to read someone elses out.
Anyway, it said that he would win some money so I made a joke out of it, 'or what £2 on dream number?' and basically I stood corrected. He won £250+ on online bingo.
So really from yesterday I believed in them!

I thought this would be a good place to put this as horoscopes are life and not just for discuss anything.

Don't believe in them because they are never true for me :/ they always say you'll meet someone you'll remember for a longtime or you will fall out with a close friend but it never happens.

Absolutely not. They're all completely ambiguous and can appeal to everyone in some way.
Ex-janitor. Might pop in from time to time, otherwise you can grab all my information from http://jamesy.me.uk/

They are written in such a way that they could apply to any aspect of your life at that moment, hence why when something happens that the horoscope 'predicted' - people put it down to the prediction being correct when in reality your mind is looking for something to place the two together.

I read the one in the Daily Mail though, but I know deep down they are just clever writing.

I read mine hoping it will say you will fall in love on the nearest Friday and have a long and happy relationship. Never say it though.

This. It's pure coincidence and every horoscope I've read make a few predictions of which one is likely to happen to you anyway.

Nah but if I'm reading a magazine and it's there then I'll still read it out of interest
