I was thinking about this recently when I got chatting to a friend on facebook. He had posted something and said 'i'll text you i don't know what nosey parkers are looking at this'.
What he was implying was he had a vast amount of 'friends' which were no more than glorified randomers whom had friend requested him and he'd simply accepted; yet didn't know them?
It completely defies the point of social networking to have a friends list full of anything but friends?
Myself personally I have about 90 friends on facebook but about 50 pending requests from people i knew and no longer talk to, don't know, or don't want to know no more.
I don't add people i dislike or don't know. All of my friends on all social platforms I use are true friends whom i socialise with, know and do like.
What about yourself? are you yet another facebook ***** who has no 'real' friends on your list? Are you as fussy as me?
What are your feelings on the 'social' sides of facebook and the likes where people generally don't know those they have on their lists?
