You probably wont understand it completely. You'll probably pick up on the base plot but some things will be a little like "what?" because it is like a direct sequel. AC1 isnt linked as much to brotherhood as AC2 which is a bit of a bonus.

Really want this game, had Assasin's creed 2, 100%'d it on ps3. Was great.

Great game, loving the story and the multiplayer. The matchmaking needs seriously improved however.

I have just finished the main storyline and i can say that its quite a shock in the end. If you have finished it then read the spoiler, if not, then dont incase you dont want the ending to be spoiled.

At the end when Desmond gets the Apple of Eden he is forced to kill Lucy, he tries to struggle but cannot seem to do so.
