According to the People, Katie's 81-year-old maternal grandmother Sheila Vogel charges up to £250 per hour for sex through a website called Vintage Vamps.

The paper quoted a family source as saying: 'This has torn the family apart. Out only hope is that it doesn't lead to more goading of Katie.'
Katie is very close to her grandmother and even used her surname when she launched her music career in the US last year.

Meh, personally it's not surprising nor interesting. The X Factor is for unknown people to make a name for themselves, and with this comes their family and their history, and surprise-surprise, we're seeing exactly that.

It's a non-story for an equally boring and talentless TV show proving itself week after week to be dying a slow death, but refusing to die by putting up a tiny fight. I'm amazed it's still going, and I hope Christmas sees it rubbed off the face of the earth forever.
