Sounds alright, don't really like their new stuff though, prefer their older stuff.

Another great album from a truly great band.

I was really annoyed when i missed them in the o2 last time they were there.
Bonjour, la noirceur, mon vieil ami
    Je suis venu te reparler
    Car une vision piétinante doucement
A laissé ses graines lorsque je dormais
    Et la vision
Qui était plantée dans mon cerveau
    Demeure toujours
    Parmi le son du silence

Default Black Eyed Peas -The Beginning

    Hiya!

I'm sure loads of you have heard Black Eyed Peas new album, The Beginning. (Which is funny considering the fact their last album was The E.N.D.) Anyways, I was wondering what your opinion was on it?

I like some of the songs like The Time, Do it Like This, Love You Long Time, Play it Loud, and Fashion Beats. But Will.I.Am stole a lot of beats from other artist and some of the lyrics are just like "wtf....O.o?" The Time (Dirty Bit) was stolen from the movie Dirty Dancing, which back then the song was awful. Do it Like This is by Will.I.Am but the lyrics are just the total wtf. He brags about his one beat and says some really awkward things in the verses like,

"I’m so official, that’s why I’m rockin this rockin this whistle
I maybe disco, parkin lady nipples
when I dj I turn the bass up to chicko"

    Yeah...

The you come to Love You Long Time which the beat and rythm was stolen from Pete Townshend song, Let My Love Open the Door. Ouch. How dare you steal from The Who!

Play it Loud was pretty decent except for one issue. You can't hear Will.I.Am at all. Its just a constant synth on the mic.

    Anyways,
    Thoughts?

I listened to the full album the other day and I thought it was OK, not a massive fan of any of the songs in particular although a few might grow on me. Don't really like the time either although it did sound pretty good when I heard it live and in general I think the E.N.D was better than this.
