Spilt a drink on my pad, but the x and square are still sticky. Anyone know how to get under the button or easiest way to clean it. I used a cloth to clean around them but it just not working

    Outside the Shankly Gates
    I heard a Kopite calling
Shankly, they have taken you away
But you left the great eleven
Just before you went to heaven
The Redmen are still playing the same way

I have fixed that issue in the past by using a toothpick around the edges of each button.

If someone tells you to take it apart, I recommend that you don't unless you know what you are doing. It is easy to take apart, but when you are ready to put it back together again you will find the shoulder button extremely hard to re-align. You need to hold them in position at the same time as you are piecing together the housing and making sure the springs work correctly.

So try what I suggested above. I hope that works for you!

If that doesn't work, my right thumbstick got stuck before and I slipped a bit of cooking oil underneath it to loosen it up!
Not sure if this'll help with your problem but worth a try?
