How do I find out the email I registered with my Xbox account

I know this sounds stupid but seriously I don't know what I signed up with or if I even signed up with one.

Sorry for the double post but:

My "Windows Live ID" is actually a yahoo email address which is annoying

I can't change it via the xbox because it keeps saying the Windows Live ID is invalid, which is true.

I get emails from microsoft on my yahoo thing which is also weird.

can anyone help me out on how to change my yahoo email and change it into a windows live id (or just like assign my windows live id to my xbox rather than the yahoo one)
