Hey guys, I'm trying to make a game sort of thing for the event competition, and this is my idea. However, I need a little assistance in actually making it possible. I'm not sure if the idea is even workable and usable but I'll give it a go. If you want to copy my concept (not even sure if it's original), go ahead but it's kind of low if you enter it into the comp, however I couldn't care less.

So basically, my idea was 8 Pod Pod Racing (Two more than usual). The reason I have tried to use 8 is so I can hopefully utilise my space efficiently etc. However, I've come up with a small obstacle that may screw up the entire event.

The dice, has been replaced with the new colour wheel (found under addons in wired catalouge) and this wheel has 8 colours. However, double clicking it doesn't give you a random colour, it just goes to the next colour.

As you can see in the screenie below, I can countered this by having a repeat effect on so it toggles through the colours. This isn't random still as I can stop the repeat effect (which you have to do to get your pod colour) whenever I want to and that'll be the colour.



So, the part I need help with is this:

I need to be able to make it so it lands randomly on something so it isn't swayed by me.

Getting it to go to a random color is something I tried last week but with no luck . I'll try again though if I get the time .

I did have an idea while writing this about have a moving toggle furni state which is attached to multiple "move furni effects" but have different delays. This would be given "running tracks" on its own so then it can move randomly up and down and occasionally going on the move effect and original toggle state. This, attached with a "viewing screen" which could be make out of pressies or curtains (they block in the middle though) would maybe make it sort of random. Do you think it'd work? I'd be willing to try it, but it takes a while to set up and all and I don't really want to waste time setting up something that isn't going to work.

There is a possibility that this will work. It depends if furni is able to set off a particular trigger, which is what I'm unsure about.

Its going to cost ALOT.

You could set up say 8 tiles banzai probs say and have something slide on each tile randomly move and rotate effects plus repeat obv.
Say one tile = red on wheel another blue u cud set it up when the furni that slides on the banzai tiles is on a certain square let the dice set to that colour if you get me

The only way to get it to go on random colours instead of the order would be to have 8 reset to original settings effects, each made for a different colour - and you can choose how you would activate it.

great idea - you could then make it random if you combine both! pricey though.

Could do USER Wiizzz says stop, move to position and have a set position in room like off the tiles.

Hey KieKie, I have set up your original post (banzai tiles etc) in my room so.. if you are on habbo and want to take a look. It works.

Also, I'm thinking...

REPEAT EFFECT -> If furni position and state match (the effect thing on top of the move furni [that moves the banzai item]) -> DELAY 10 -> match furni position (the banzai item to the middle)
