A brilliant short film set to New Order's Elegia made in 1998 by Mark Osborne (co-director of Kung-Fu Panda).

I discovered this about a year ago now and have been watching it at least twice a month. Utterly fantastic. There are a few different ways to interpret the meaning of the film and I would recommend reading the video comments to understand it better and here is a very good video analysis.

Considering More was nominated for an Oscar it sure is quite unknown. You guys just have to check it out!

I didn't get it until watching the review but now it makes sense and it was really good.

That was pretty awesome, I tried to interpret it myself and guess about him trying to put his own happiness/love into it but the video analysis you provided sounds pretty perfect to me.

It really gets your gears turning, I think the music helped set the mood too.

I interpreted it as a person who wanted nothing more than to be happy, then settled for what he thought was happiness - discovered he was in denial and it wasn't real happiness and then concludes with the reunion of a fond childhood memory, where he remembers what it feels like to truly be happy.

What a great animation, didn't really understand it on a first glance, I watched the review and it all makes sense, a great little video. I would + rep but again, I need to spread

I quite like this one, not short but very good...
