Default Post your end of term report (if you want)

    What the title says.

Ours are really basic, they give you the subject, grade, and effort level (1 = excellent, 2 = good, 3 = average, 4 = poor, 5 = seriously bad - possible action taken if not improved). No comments from teachers or anything. This year it wasn't even all my subjects ;l

    Anyway here is mine:

    Subject - Grade - Effort

    History - A* - 1
    Maths - A - 2
    French - A - 2
    Chemistry - B - 1
    English - B - 1
    Drama - C - 1

Now considering it's my first term of year 10 it's not bad. I'd have prefered an A in Chemistry & English and a B in Drama but I can get them next term.

But yeahhhhhhhhhhh...they didn't give me a report for: Physics, Biology, Music or I.C.T. ;l

    Anyway post yours

What is your grade based off of? Im just curious as im year 11 but my school still do the number/level (ie 7U/7A whatever flows your boat).
I would post mine, but ive been off from mocks for the past 2 weeks.

My grades changed to A/B/C etc as I went into year 9, I find it quite unusual that your school is still using the 7A method when you're in year 11.

Ditto what Alkaz said. We had 5/6/7(a, b, c) from 7-9 (for most subjects) then had A, B, C, D, E, F, G, U for some subjects in year 9 and all in year 10. It's our current GCSE grade - what we would get if we took it now kinda thing.

The levels 5/6/7 (a/b/c) were for SATs before they got removed as far as I'm aware. The top level you could get was 9 (on the highest papers) and bottom 1c. x]
I had them for all my subjects except Science (bio/chem/phys) last year but we had GCSE grades for the sciences because we did them early.

Math was more than expected yet nevertheless disappointing.

we get like effort for loads of different things:

    Attitude to Learning:
    Eng.lit: 2
    History: 1
    Music: 2
    Psychology: 1

    Quality of classwork:
    Eng. Lit: 2
    History: 2
    Music: 1
    Psychology: 2

    Quality of Homework:
    Englit: 2
    History: 2
    Music: 1
    Psychology: 2

    Meeting Deadlines:
    Englit: 2
    History: 1
    Music: 2
    Psychology: 2

and then CCC and an A in psychology for assesments.

I did so much better than I thought I would seeing as the only subject I've done a bit of work for is Psychology.

Got my "minimum target grades" too, which were all A's so pretty happy with it.
