    Question DJing Questions

So, Im New. And I just received the trail radio acceptance email and stuff. and I reply to it and all. Now I feel stupid for asking all this but i have no clue.
How Do i Know what time Do i DJ? How do i need to contact for that? Also How exactly Does Sam Connect to Habboxlive?
And Is there A Rules forum for DJing? Like No Songs with Curse words, or anything like that?
Sorry For all the Questions, But any Answers will be Great :]

I've just noticed that this has been posted... its a bit far off the main core forums!

Firstly, congratulations for managing to be accepted to HabboxLive. It is a hard process, and only a few DJs really make it. So this obviously shows you have passion and have brilliant potential.

    1. When you are first given a job you will be issued with a panel account, on there is a timetable - you will be able to book slots as long as they are free and not booked already whenever you wish.

    2. I'll explain this in a pretty short yet simple form - so you may want to read some guides on a pretty cool website (RBGudies) here. Basically, I am assuming you have a bit of experience using SAM. You will be issued with the radio information or as it is known on SAM 'encoder' - you will just need to select SHOUTcast, the appropriate bitrate and most importantly the radio IP, port and password. You just copy and paste these, and press play - then play the music.

    3. As with everything, there is rules. One of these rules indeed, is that you may not play inappropriate music. You will be informed of these rules when you are first welcomed to the team.

Feel free to answer an questions, I'll be happy to reply

All the best and good luck with the DJing, I look forward to *hopefully* seeing you around...

There are several rules you will see on the habboxlive forum when you get your permissions. Jordan has pointed out most of the things but I think some more important ones are:

No swearing by DJs OR songs on the radio
Do not just disconnect at the end of your show
You must book at least 2 slots but no more than 4 slots in a week.

and yes there is a rules thread in the habboxlive forum

and we tend to contact via MSN, if you don't have MSN or it's not working sometimes it's possible to use habbo but MSN is preferred.
