Mother cuts out heart of 4 year old daughter whilst listening to Koran

A mother has been arrested after a four year old girl was found stabbed to death with her heart and other organs cut out and strewn around her flat.
The 35-year-old woman was allegedly sitting in a her kitchen chanting verses of the Koran as her daughter's disembowelled corpse lay next to her.
The little girl's heart and other organs were found in different rooms around the flat in Clapton, east London.

Horrible if true, but not all Muslims are vile. It's a bit of a non-story really, there's not much to talk about.

Well many religions do have violent/distasteful verses, like Muhammad had sex with a 9 year old did he not? and then there's the other guy (forget the name) who sacrificed his son (or was it a lamb) in the Bible. I have to say though, that although religion gets a bad press, it does do a lot of good.

I'm not sure about the Muhammad having sex with a 9 year old but I think the bible reference you're refering to is Abraham and his son? He was going to kill him but God told him to stop, it was all just a test to prove he was faithful. Attempted murder and sectioned if he tried it nowadays

Yes anyway I agree, religion does in general do a lot of good even if it does get a lot of bad press too. I got this quote from a Dan Brown book/movie (lol the irony) but it sums up what I think on religion: "Religion is flawed because man is flawed." not the other way round as people would suggest.

I never said that religions weren't violent and didnt have violent parts, but the fact that ALL media these days is all centred at islam is getting old and incredibly boring. And you may think it does a lot of good, which it does, but i think we're better off without it, but thats a debate for another thread :p
