Just thought I'd say this is a pretty good idea and it will be interesting to see how it goes.

I think I might consider applying. I have no interest in reporting news but the articles "sub-dept" seems to have a lot more freedom and room for your own, personal work rather than just reeling off the latest stories.

One question. Will there be a set list of things which needs to be written about per week? Will you set tasks such as "review a movie".. "write a poem" - or will it be a matter of writing about whatever takes our fancy and then publishing when / where appropriate?

Cheers and best of luck with x

I'd love to do articles...I like writing reviews and stuff but our main priority atm is habbo. I think having a sub-dept where 2 or 3 people specialise would be really good.

Good point. How big is the articles team proposed to be?

May I ask why Habbo is priority?

Nothing at all to do with the Habbox name, I'm guessing.

I was in articles department when it closed so it'll be interesting to see how this pans out. Good luck

All the big feedback threads (that get 10+ pages ish) say Habbox need somethign special and I think giving Habbo news the priority is a bad idea. Why? Because Sulake do their own news. Giving Habbo priority it wasting resources IMO but that's just my opinion. I'm not saying get rid of Habbo News (durr) but I don't agree with it being priority.

I agree that Habbox does need something special. Whether that means news or something else completely is a different matter. However, if the news department has decided to put Habbos as their target audience, it's logical to say that Habbo news would be the top priority. Tbh, it could be wrong, Robbie might have just said something wrong.

I don't like it as much as anyone else. I much prefer real life & reviews, interviews ect.

I really like the creative writing bit Charlie spoke about in the applications thread, I do love it, too bad I can't apply!
I think that the re making of the articles section will be really good; if not, at least he tried yeah?
