First Strike DLC coming feb 1st

The First Strike map pack will be available from February 1 next year for the Xbox 360.

However, it is believed the DLC won’t be available to PlayStation 3 users until March.

The map pack will include four new multiplayer maps and a new level for the zombie mode.

Two of the new maps are expected to be based on the single player game - Hong Kong and the Arctic Circle.

The others will be based in the Cold War and involve an ice hockey stadium and the Berlin Wall.

So thats 4 new mp maps and a new zombie map all for 1200 ms points. All the maps are named in the pocast if you want to know what they are.

so, its still a huge ass rip off. Although saying that, none of them are old maps so it doesnt feel like too much of a rip off compared to MW2. I'm assuming kowloon will be the rooftops in the singleplayer level. Would be cool if they integrated that huge jump into the map

I wonder what ascension will be.

Well compared to the mw2 rip off, yes it is a bargain. Remember we got remade maps in that and they still made us pay the same amount.

All the zombie maps in the new map packs were meant to be released for World at War, but then MW2 ruined the party so they just held off.

ALL of the MP maps are just recycled 'cancelled' ones, meant to be released.

For 1200 MSpoints you could buy Super Meat Boy, Limbo and thousands of other great Xbox Live Arcade titles.

I must admit I thought that this being a Treyarch game, the DLC prices would go back to 800 points, but I guess it's Activision's doing. At least Treyarch are releasing DLC and patching the game, more than can be said for IW

I dont mind paying 10 quid for it sine its gonna add more and more hours of game time.

Yeah I don't even know how you could begin to say 1200MSP is, in anyway, a bargain.

Activision has seen the huge growth in COD and seen that people will be willing to pay more for DLC. Let's hope it peaks at 1200MSP...

Anyway the stadium map should be an interesting one
