Hey, ive had this popup twice now, while my browser has been closed, saying

Keeps happening on my MSN too, everytime I leave MSN then load it and the security popup comes up then the advert has a little X. Glad it's just not me!

Oh yeah, I had that on MSN too. I was like "What the hell is this" then I realized it was for a silly advert on MSN.

It means you're connecting via SSL and the site doesn't have a valid SSL certificate set up.

Nah, it means that you're connecting to the wrong domain for the certificate.

I view it as more of a case of:

    Wrong Domain, Correct Certificate

    than

    Right Domain, Wrong Certificate

    Self signed certificates?

Wrong Domain, Correct Certificate and Right Domain, Wrong Certificate - I would call both invalid certificate for the domain in question.
