Default What could i get? +28 rep

Basically, i have a wireless router, an xbox 360 and a computer.

Both my computer and the xbox 360 have no wireless capabilities, so i have to hook either one up via cables.

My wireless router only has 1 open slot (that works ) for a cable, so my issue is that i have to disconnect my computer to play on my xbox live, and vice versa.

I dont really fancy getting the wireless thing for my xbox since it costs like £40-£50, any ideas?

Are you sure you don't have a modem, and not a router? Most routers you would plugin to a modem have four internet ports or something and wireless.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

You could buy a switch, but then you might aswell get the wireless adapter.

They do that with some providers in Canada, but even then they have four LAN spots.

A second router, or one with more room for LAN should do.

That'll allow me to have my computer connected to the internet via wireless, and then connect my xbox via cable?

Depends how much you depend on your PC's internet connection. Those cheap USB wireless dongles are terrible. They drop connection all the time.

Why not a ethernet hub? Have a cable from the modem to that then one to the router, meaning you have 3 spots left on the modem and 1 on the router and you keep ethernet speed and not 802.11g which is awful.
