i post a lot about hair lol

so basically i'm dying it again cause i'm bored with it except this time i'm doing it professionally because here's what i want

i really want to do the half and half thing yh where the top is on color and the bottom is another, except none of that skunky looking platinum blonde and black (no offense if you have it, i do like it but its not for me -- no bleach is touching my hair ;l)

etc

so thats what the back looks like, and then for the front...

so basically i want to do this but with less noticeable colors. i'm thinking a brown color on top and black on bottom still. i actually can't find anything on google when i've searched for what i want, which is kind of good i guess since it'll be sort of unique anyways i don't know what color to put on the top i'm afraid i'll end up going too dark and it'll just look black on blacker. the good thing is that since its being professionally dyed they'll be able to give me a guess of how dark it'll be and tell me whether it'll be too dark or not however i'm not sure how light i want exactly so i was wondering if anyone has suggestions or anything, pictures, etc.

i quite like miley's hair in this pic, although i don't think i really want brown on brown, and hers is a bit red for my taste




thats the idea of it also, i want it to look separate but not like...omg there's two different colors in her hair that looks so awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


and then there's her hair which i love and adore and is amazing but i don't want blonde lol


so basically yh i need a color for the top, if you have any suggestions that aren't too stupid i'll be happy also, do you think this is too overdone? i think the blonde and black is but i've never seen anyone with brown and black before, not in person anyways one of my good friends just got something similar to this done (except with the blonde) so it made me start thinking about dying my hair again, and i finally figured out something i wanted! if you really don't like it i don't mind, i appreciate your opinions i just probably won't end up changing my mind as its something different that i've never had before that i really want to try +rep to any good suggestions and help!! thanks all

Maybe brown and black will be good together - but it depends on what shade. The only thing I don't like about the hair is the first picture you uploaded with the ponytail (black on the top and blonde on the bottom). No offence - I thought it looked like a cat lol. But I generally do like the style

I generally like the style, although I'm not really keen on the blonde and black. One of my friends had blonde on the top and brown on the bottom, and I thought that looked quite nice, so if you're planning on going with this sort of style, that's what I'd personally choose

I really like Miley's hair I think it looks nice maybe darker brown and black

I like the blonde on top and black underneath, I think you could really pull it off. Miley's hair colour is really nice, a brown with a tint of red would look good.
