    Default New Years Party

    Sorry, I found this bizarre

Will people actually be on habbo tonight? I mean, if you are celebrating new years you won't be online. If you aren't chances are you will be in bed?

Just seems like a strange thing to celebrate on habbo, but fair enough.

Some people don't bother going out or can't. I was stuck in last year. People like to do different things. 10.9m were watching BBC1 last year!

I am sure that includes people around houses

We always have BBC one on in the 'main room'

Although Habbo won't be hitting peak numbers this evening it's important that Habbox has a presence - not many other fansities will be providing the alternative for those that can't go out or whatnot, for instance Martin (who is running the event) can't go out as he's at work at 7am New Years Day.

I think it's quite good advertising if we're one of the few fansites that do something - most poeple get in that new year mood so even if they don't go out they can pop along to our party.

I guess it's the same principle as the giveaways we did on Christmas Day - they were hugely successful for Habbox.

Did people go to that Habbox give away? o.O

I can see the advantage of having a new year party, I guess for many people they simply can't go out.
