2011 iPhone Alarm Glitch

Apparently, any iPhone running iOS 4 will be currently suffering from a new years alarm glitch! Just thought I'd post a thread incase people hadn't seen like me, my alarm hasn't gone off for the past 2 days but luckily I didn't need it.

Basically, it would seem since new year alarms on iphones are broken - they haven't given any reasons why though...

I saw this on the news and people were complaining about apple making them an hour late for work.
Haven't tried out the alarm since new year, however by monday it's supposedly going to work as normal.

I was going to switch to using my iPad's alarm over my phone's so I could charge my phone downstairs because I have to charge it more frequently than the iPad - I wonder if this has affected iOS on the iPads too.

In 2000 when a lot of other companies had troubles with their time keeping Apple had a slogan talking about how they're the only computer designed to work after the year 2000 - well, I guess not

yeah i set my alarm for 11am & 11.30 yesterday but woke up at 12 and just assumed i slept through it even though that rarely happens lol.

Someone I know with an iPhone was moaning about this a second ago What does it do? Is the alarm set but just doesn't go off, or does it just not set an alarm no matter how many times you try?
