I'm in hospital.

Ever since I was diagnosed with Chron's disease back this time last year I've had problems. It could have been the severe weight loss or crippling stomach pains that landed me in it at any day and I've been a time bomb literally waiting to explode into a larger problem. Basically, to keep things short and sweet I've exploded; it's been messy, really messy. Doctors decided to investigate under anesthetic and what they found was in their own words was "gruesome". My intestine was torn, ulcerated and basically pulped so they removed a larger section and replaced it with a stoma bag. I'm not walking yet and the road to recovery is huge but I'll get there. Happy new year!

That's awful Joey. I'm sure that the doctors have done their best and have fixed you up the best they can. Hopefully 2011 will actually be a happy new year for you.
