The maintenance page is alright, I guess. Though why would anyone want to donate to a site that has not opened yet and has no community. Having a donation button there is just saying, all we want is your money, we are not actually interested in our site being the best of the best. If you get a donation please tell me because I honestly will give you $100

Fansites need to start off somewhere.. If I was designing a big layout, I'd just use a pre-made template..

Maybe, change your copy right notice and say that it was made by someone else.
You could at least show the respect to them for releasing a design that you obviously like and have decided to use.
