ive flicked through all the av channels and theyre all giving me a blank screen.
um its the on with 6 cables, all with different colours. on the website it says dont plug in the yellow one for hd tv but that made no difference.
the switch on the xbox cable is also on hdtv rather than tv, so i dont know what else to try :/
hiya, on the plug bit by the xbox you'll see a little switch, change it and see what happens. sometimes it accidently moves.
the two options are tv and hdtv, this happened to me a while back and baffled me.
hope this is the right thing! if not then im sorry, but i dont know.![]()

You're probably better off buying a 'Microsoft Xbox 360 VGA Cable'.
It contains 1 VGA output and a red/white output to plug into monitors and/or tvs.
Was never keen on the 6 plug hd thing due to it not working with my psp at the time!
Another alternative is to only use the normal y/w/r input.
if you want it in HD get a HDMI cable.

thanks for all the replys guys. i just unplugged everything and plugged it back in again and for some reason it's working now
however...the colours are all a bit grey now..anyone know whats causing this?
Probably because you're using an AV cable on a device capable of producing high definition, you will need a HDMI cable to get the best graphics out of it, only if your TV is HDMI enabled.
