GCSE History dates.

I've got a history exam coming up soon and I need to remember the WW2 Dates mostly

Any good ways to help me remember the dates? And whats little things I can throw into the test to get extra marks

You could try sticking notes around your house that could have questions on which you can then answer. :]

lol I would do that but my hand writing is to stupid to fit onto a sticky note LOL.

But i;d like to gather questions and answers and just read them top to bottom like 50 times a day

You could try writing mnemonics, which can be really useful. When I had my GCSE history, i could never remember the date of the cold war, so I changed my phone pin to the date for example: 132003, then every time I used my phone I would have to type it in. It worked for me really well. Good Luck

wow thats a good one haha But that would only work for one question When its just one whole essay worth 25 marks. So i think im still going to try that + rep

Just record them to your phone or something or maybe onto a CD, but a phone would be easier so anytime when your bored, doing cleaning, washing up, driving, on the bus, you can listen to it and it will sink in.

My psych teacher made me make keyring thrings. Basically get some card, cut them into a smaller size and holepunch near a corner. Write the date on one side and the event on the other. Then put on a keyring. I did it with psychology studies with name and date on front and brief what it was about/showed on the back.

Obviously you don't have to put these on your keys, but having them in your pocket for when you're walking home, sitting on the bus and whatever works a treat.

Haha, at exam times my house is covered in sticky notes. My room is actually packed.
