    Has anyone tried any apps on the app store on macs yet, what are you opinions on them?

    Personally, It's okay so far, need a lot more apps though.

    If all the apps weren't so expensive this would be really neat.

    Pointless. IMO it will never work on desktops/laptops. Apple have taken it a bit too far now I think.

    I've never understood the Mac App Store. It's reached a billion sales supposedly, which is impressive (though not amazing, but Apple make fruit sound glorious anyway), but I don't see the point of it. It just seems to prove that Macs are for dumb people*, if people need an App Store to find programs, when there are programs freely available on the web with wider audience participation for reviews, help and so forth. In short, it's not a bad thing but not really necessary

    Billion sales was the normal App Store wasn't it?

    ... Apple have too many friggin' App Stores Does seem a bit too impressive hitting a Billion in retrospect

    i'm interested in the human japanese app, for $18 it's a bargain. some things are just priced silly though
