    $bbuserinfo[fieldX] where x=number

Post will only work in the postbit templates.
The other day I was in a toilet.
A voice came from the cubicle next to me: "Hello mate, how are you doing?"
I didn't want to be rude, so I said, "Not too bad, thanks."
I heard the voice again. "So, what are you up to?"
Again I answered, "Just having a quick ****... How about yourself?"
Then I heard him say "Sorry, mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some **** in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say."

    Perhaps you misunderstood by post.

    $post[fieldX] only works on postbit.
$bbuserinfo[fieldX] works anywhere else (including having a Habbo avatar in header.
    e.g.
    http://www.habbo.com/habbo-imaging/avatarimage?user=$bbuserinfo[fieldX]xx&action=wav&direction=3&head_direction=3&gesture =sml&size=s

Just put it in code of header.

got it to echo and its putting "$bbuserinfo[field5]" instead of the actual field.

    I don't use vb4 so don't know their variables. Ask on vbulletin.com

Which suggests to me you must be using a null vb license otherwise speak to customer support
