    Default Controlive people?

My mums just had a massive argument with my best friends mum, it's upset me quite a lot knowing what she thinks of us, she told us we sponge of my grandad, without him we'd have nothing at all.
They're complete hypocrites, because they do exactly the same, if not more.
It's put more of a strain on me and my friends friendship - even before the argument we weren't as close as we've been for a while, but this has just made it all a little worse.
Her mum, must be the most controlive, insulting person. She even insults her own daughters.
and on facebook, last night, she wrote a big status saying im a **** friend, just slagging me off.
I think it's really pathetic, it's made me really upset, a 40 year old woman, slagging off her daughters 13 year old best friend.
I know, it's all over facebook, and facebook is just the worse thing for arguments, which is probably exactly when most people will write
i'm just wondering, would other people feel the same, it's really upsetting me, because I know I've not been a **** friend to her, i'm always there for her, I just have other friends, and she does too?
Sorry if it was all confusing, help?

Maybe talk to your Mum about it. i know it may sound like a stupid idea, but I bet she tells it to her straight.

Does your Mum **** off her daughters? No (hopefully) then her Mum shouldn't do the same to you. That's cyber bullying if it's on facebook slagging you off. You could even get the Police on her back (i think). You even have the proof of the status?

Anyway, you could talk to your friend, ask her what she thinks of her Mum slagging you and her off, see if she doesn't mind it etc. Maybe that's how you could become better friends again? You have something in common. I know it's a negative thing in common but still.

Her mother sounds as if she is very hard to get on with and a but immature. Her actions have absolutely nothing to do with the friendship between you and your friend but I guess she is a bit split in her loyalties. Don't be nasty about her mother to her (she is proably already embarrassed enough) and just try to keep the friendship going. It will blow over - you will just probably have to put up with it until it does.

@ Cocaine - since when were you recruited as a member of the grammar police?

thankyou minion and catzsy, i've talked to my mum and she's messeged her telling her that i'm super upset, and she's pathetic.
I've talked to my friend, and she kept trying to sort of blame her mum, she sounded really embaressed, and I feel sorry for her.
Her mum will choose her friends for her, to be honest the only good friend she has is me, I know it sounds a bit cocky, but I'm a good friend to her.

Well your Mum could report her to the police for harrassment. They can issue a warning notice against her these days saying that if she continues she could end up in court.

its just a shame people such as the ones mentioned are in society, there'll always be people who act like that. theres not much you can do about it except steer clear of them from now on.
