R is the equivalent of 15 over here.

R is the equivalent of an 18 certificate, but you can be any age as long as you're with someone 18 or up.

Actually I think you have to be 17, because I just turned 17 and I can get in to rated R movies.

I don't think Ive ever seen a 17 rated movie before normally it's 12, 15 and 18
